What to See This Winter During 2-for-1 Broadway Week

Broadway is home to some of the highest quality productions in the world — and, unfortunately, also some of the highest ticket prices. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways to save money on tickets to the Great White Way. Theatergoers who want to warm up winter with a Broadway show can take advantage of Broadway Week, which will offer 2-for-1 tickets to top musicals and plays.

Broadway Week, a promotion offered through NYC & Company, will take place this winter from Tuesday, January 21st  through Sunday, February 9th. Ticket buyers can purchase 2-for-1 tickets using the code BWAYWK through the promotion, as well as upgrade their tickets for just $20 using code BWAYUP (subject to availability).

Twenty-one shows will be participating in Broadway Week this winter, including both beloved favorites and newcomers to the Great White Way. Musical fans can enjoy some of the newest fare to hit Broadway, including Girl from the North Country, which features the music of Bob Dylan, and Jagged Little Pill, which features music by Alanis Morissette. Those looking for a new play to discover may enjoy Grand Horizons, about a couple who suddenly decides to split after 50 years of marriage, or the Broadway debut of A Soldier’s Play, which won the Pulitzer Prize following its off-Broadway premiere in 1982. Playgoers can also check out recent arrivals from across the pond, like My Name Is Lucy Barton, which stars actress Laura Linney, or the epic two-part play The Inheritance, which won the Olivier Award for best new play on London’s West End.
