Perfume Room Live at Caveat
Have you ever gone down the rabbit hole that is PerfumeTok wishing you had a clue as to what any of the fragrances smelled like? Maybe you’ve smelled a fragrance so thought-provoking, you stopped to think about who made it, and how? And why? If you answered yes to any of the above, Perfume Room LIVE is where you need to be on March 23rd at 4PM.

To celebrate 3 years of Perfume Room podcast, host Emma Vernon, brings you Perfume Room LIVE: a live podcast recording and special immersive smelling session with legendary Givaudan VP Perfumer, Rodrigo Flores-Roux!

If you’re familiar with perfumes like Clinique Happy, Houbigant Fougère Royale, Vacation, The Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Collection, Tom Ford Neroli Portofino, you’ve smelled the genius of Rodrigo Flores-Roux. To say these perfumes only scratch the surface is an understatement because he’s created over 200 fragrances! Join for the intimate and lively conversation and stay for the experiential smelling session where Rodrigo will guide the audience (both IRL and livestream!) through five of his greatest perfume creations.

LIVESTREAMING THE SHOW? SMELL ALONG WITH US! Order a sample pack of the 5 scents we’ll be smelling ahead of time so you too, can join in on the fun!

ABOUT RODRIGO FLORES-ROUX: When Rodrigo Flores-Roux was four years old, he naughtily went through his aunt's chest of drawers, found a perfume bottle, and hastily slid it into his pocket. "It was just so beautiful," he reminisces. But the bottle then leaked, and the strong aroma invaded the room. "Both my mother and my grandmother scolded me for stealing the bottle, and for ruining my shorts!" It was from that moment on, Rodrigo fell in love with scents. He certainly has made fragrance the center of his life. After attending perfumery school in France, he returned home to Mexico, where he began his career in 1991. Always immersed in history and art, he informs his creations via his broad range of interests. The breadth of his polymath knowledge is evident in his perfumes. "I can do minimalistic quite well, but I am a maximalist at heart. I've been told that my perfumes are ‘chatty,’ and evolve like interesting, nuanced conversations—evocative and bold. I don't know how to do subtle perfume...Why bother?" A FEW CREATIONS: THOM BROWNE The Vetyver Collection, all fragrances, 2020 to present ARQUISTE Misfit, Peau, L’or de Louis VACATION The Fragrance, 2020 DOLCE & GABBANA Velvet Collection XINU MEXICO all fragrances LE GALION L’ me Perdue, L’Astre for Ava Gardner HOUBIGANT La Fougère Royale (re-edition)
