Songs of Travel: An Earth Day Recital
Hailed as a "standout" (Chicago Tribune), baritone Benjamin Howard takes the stage with his father David Howard, recently retired LA Phil clarinetist of the past 42 years. In a celebration of Earth Day weekend, the Howards present Songs of Travel: An Earth Day Recital. Performing all earth-themed songs by Ralph Vaughan-Williams, Martin Hennessy, and Irving Berlin, the Howards are joined by acclaimed jazz vocalist Arianna Neikrug, winner of the 2015 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, and Jeremy Filsell, virtuoso pianist and organist & Director of Music at St. Thomas Church Fifth Ave. With a run time of only 50 minutes, the concert is free and open to the public! www.bhowardbaritone.com
