This Saturday's concert in Pregones/PRTT’s “March is Music” (MIM) series will feature the Trombeatz. Led by trombonist Hommy Ramos with percussionist Nelson Bello, Trombeatz is a dynamic and adventuresome ensemble whose debut album, A Caribbean Thing, was released to great acclaim by Truth Revolution. The group has performed in Puerto Rico and throughout the eastern U.S. and is known for its high energy and melodic skill.

“March is Music” is streaming now through March 29th free of charge on Pregones/PRTT’s Facebook, Vimeo, and Youtube channels. To celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of “March is Music” Pregones/PRTT is hosting a pre-concert happy hour on Saturday starting at 7 p.m., registration is required and can be made FREE at PregonesPrtt.org

"March is Music," now in its 15th year, is Pregones/PRTT's yearly series featuring musical concerts and conversations with and by the theater's community of artistic collaborators. This year's iteration of "March is Music" features two virtual concerts every weekend in March. Saturday evening concerts will be led by Latin jazz, contemporary chamber, and afro-Dominican fusion artists. Sunday afternoons will feature classical piano concerts and classical pianists acclaimed in the US and abroad. Monday evenings will feature five new episodes of the company's digital series, Spotlight, where artists from within the theater's community discuss their musical careers.
